Children
Childhood can be a time filled with great joy and exploration, or it can sometimes feel very overwhelming. With the increased use of social media, Covid-19 changes in school, and exposure to very frightening situations, children are under way more pressure than ever. There has been an increase in childhood depression and anxiety over the past few years, and it has become very helpful for children to receive therapy. Pediatric therapy can help to increase access to inherent resilience and coping skills far into adulthood.
I provide individual therapy to children from ages 4 to 13. I utilize art therapy, play, and narrative therapy to help children identify coping strategies for managing bullying, anxiety, depression, life changes, and self-esteem issues. I have vast experience with children, having worked with them for over 9 years in tribal settings. I enjoy helping children identify their inherent resilience, create imaginative strategies for coping with distress, and transform their behavioral issues.

Teens
Our teenage years are some of the hardest years we may experience. This is because developmentally we are experiencing a stage called “individuation,” wherein we are trying to discover ourselves, and rebel against that which has been so familiar to us for so long.
I provide your 14 to 18-year-old adolescent with tools for managing anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, and interpersonal skills. In New Mexico, the age of therapeutic consent is 14, so your child can choose their own therapist and decide who the best match is for them. I have successfully helped many teenagers to increase self-acceptance, overcome patterns of self-harm, and feel confident in their own personal identities. My methods include acceptance and commitment therapy and art therapy.

Adults
It seems as though life has become increasingly more difficult. There are so many life pressures on adults these days. With inflation, COVID-19, the disruption of the community, and increased violence, it sometimes feels like we each carry the weight of the world on our shoulders. I want to be here to support you in your struggles and help you carry some of that weight.
I treat many adults with such issues as anxiety, depression, codependence, career changes, and life skills. I utilize acceptance and commitment therapy to support adults in feeling a greater sense of self-acceptance and committing to a change plan to enhance their quality of life.

Couples
Disconnection is the enemy of a healthy relationship. Communication is the remedy. We may fall in love and feel completely seen and understood, but over time, the stress of life creeps into our relationships and may start to erode our sense of connection with one another. I am here to help.
I treat couples who would like to enhance their communication skills, build bridges across emotional walls, resolve relationship trauma, and regain a sense of trust in their partners. I use attachment-based methods and concrete communication skills to help you all to learn to become a better team.
Service Rates
I offer sliding scale prices. My rate is $97 - $175 per session.
